Marsha F. Cloherty
1957 – 2012

LUNENURG - Marsha (Prior) Fortunato Cloherty formally of Amherst, MA passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, March 21st with her family by her bedside. Marsha loved her family, making crafts and traveling. She was very talented and creative. Marsha worked at Cooley Dickinson hospital for 25 years and most recently, TransCanada. Predeceased by her mother, Ruth Guyette, she leaves behind her husband, Robert Cloherty of Lunenburg and step-daughters Renee and Kelley. Marsha also leaves behind her father Wendell Prior and his wife Rena; her brothers and sisters: Wendell "Monty" Prior Jr. (wife Maria) of Ludlow, Lyn Call (Chris Rice) of Pelham, Diana Szynal (husband Jim) of Hatfield, and Herb Guyette (wife Pam) of Buckland and her beloved nieces and nephews: Jennifer and Steven Prior, Courtney Call, Peter and Henry Higgins, Hadley Szynal, and Emma and Will Guyette as well as many uncles, aunts, and cousins. We will always remember her entertaining stories, fierce devotion to her family, her unconditional love and support. The funeral will be held at the Agawam Curran-Jones Funeral Home Saturday at 1:00pm. For online condolences please visit curranjones.com.
