Mary G. Baggetta

Suffield-Mary G. (Magni) Baggetta, 94, of 45 Bridge Street, died Sunday at home surrounded by her family. She was born and raised in Springfield and had lived there most of her life before recently moving to Suffield. Mary worked as a machinist at the Armory in Springfield during and shortly after WWII. She later worked as a cook for Ramada Inn in Chicopee and was a member of the Springfield Golden Age Club. Her husband Francesco Baggetta died in 1980. She leaves three daughters, Patricia Simonetta of Windsor Locks, CT, Roseann Robinson of Springhill, FL and Francine Baggetta-Dickey of Holland, MA, a brother John Magni of West Springfield, seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Her sister Stegnia Marcinowski died in 2000. A funeral Mass will be held in Sacred Heart Church, Suffield, CT Friday November 25, 2011 at 11:00am with private burial in St. Michael's Cemetery.
