Mary T. (O'Neil) Bovat, 89, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, January 15, 2017 at home.  Born in Springfield, daughter of the late James and Dora (Wilson) O'Neil, she grew up in West Springfield, and moved to Feeding Hills in 1947.  Mary loved the Red Sox, Bingo, playing cards and her dogs, Layla and Rhodes.  She was a communicant of Sacred Heart Church.  Her husband, Edward N. Bovat died in 2006.  She leaves two sons and their wives, Edward and Janice Bovat of Agawam, James and Laurie Bovat of Ludlow, two daughters and their husbands, Diane and Joseph Beaudry with whom Mary made her home, Susan and John Phillips of Feeding Hills, two sisters, Eleanor Beauchane of Feeding Hills, Joan Weddle of Arkansas, two sisters-in-law, Mabel Lemieux of Southwick, Dolores Hickson of Westfield, fifteen grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren.  She was also predeceased by two grandsons, Michael Godbout, David Trude, a sister, Mary Rose Hickson, three brothers, James O'Neil, Joseph Hickson and Samuel Hickson.  The funeral will be Thursday at 11:30am from the AGAWAM CURRAN-JONES FUNERAL HOME, 745 Cooper Street with a Mass in Sacred Heart Church at 12:30pm. The burial will follow in the Massachusetts Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
