It is with deep sadness that we tell you that our beautiful mother passed away on Sunday surrounded by her loving family. She was the backbone of the DuBois family and a strong force in her husband's business having worked side by side with him at Service Machine Inc. She was born in Springfield, daughter of the late Francis and Mary (Scully) McGovern, grew up in Hungry Hill and has lived in Chicopee for 52 years.  She was on the Board of Directors of the former Willimansett Credit Union and the Lake Groton (VT) Association as well as a 16 year volunteer at Mercy Medical Center. She was predeceased by her husband Roger and siblings Terry Garvey, Patricia McGovern, Brenda Simons and William McGovern. She leaves two sons Paul DuBois and his wife Carole of Granby and Mark DuBois and his wife Darlene of South Hadley, daughter Jean Rouillard and her husband Paul of Chicopee, brother James McGovern and his wife Janet of Chicopee, sister Ellen Martin and her husband James of West Springfield, two grandchildren Kimberly Rock and her husband Toby and Mark DuBois II and his girlfriend Haley Eagan.  She also leaves her beloved cat Maggie. The funeral will be Thursday at 9 am from Curran-O'Brien Funeral Home, 33 Lamb St., S. Hadley followed by Mass in St. Rose de Lima Church at 10 am. Burial in Notre Dame Cemetery.
