Mary L. O'Brien, 66, of West Springfield, MA, passed away peacefully on December 10, 2024. Mary was born on February 7, 1958 In Boston,MA. She was an outstanding nurse for many years and retired from Noble Hospital a few years ago. Mary had a love for dogs, the ocean and camping. She was known for her kindness in helping others in need. She is survived by her sons, Nathan and Timothy O'Brien of West Springfield, her brother, Rick of Myrtle Beach,South Carolina, her sisters, Carol Noel of Southwick, and Cheryl Holt also of Southwick. Mary leaves behind four grandchildren, four nephews and many good A.A. and AlAnon  friends. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, Dec 18, 2024 from 5-7pm at Curran Jones FuneralHome, 109 Main Street, West Springfield. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to charity of one's choice.
