Mary T. (Mineo) Scibelli, 63, passed peacefully Sunday at Baystate Medical Center surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Springfield, daughter of the late Vincent and Beverly (Poehler) Mineo and grew up in Forest Park, a place that was very dear to her. She attended Holy Name School and graduated from Sacred Heart High School and Springfield College. Mary worked for more than 20 years as an administrative assistant at Springfield College. She loved gardening, golf, her dog Mattingly and her beach house in Newport. Mary was a diehard Yankees fan. She leaves her husband Dino Scibelli, her son Nick Scibelli and his wife Allicia of Enfield, CT, her brother Vincent Mineo of Springfield, her sister Beth Mineo-Young and her husband Bob Young of West Springfield, her niece Jacqueline Mackechnie and her husband Keith Pellerin of Longmeadow and her niece Andrea Giroux of Springfield.  She was predeceased by her brother Joseph Mineo in 2012. The funeral home service will be Wednesday at 6 pm at the West Springfield Curran-Jones Funeral Home. Calling hours will precede the service on Wednesday from 4:00 to 6:00pm.
