Mary M. Skrabely
1931 – 2011

SPRINGFIELD – Mary M. (Stewart) Skrabely, 80, died Tuesday at home surrounded by her loving family. Mary was born in Springfield, the daughter of David and Elizabeth (Boyle) Stewart, and has lived in Springfield all her life. Mary was the caregiver of the family. She expressed her love of family by taking care of everyone, whether it was helping raise kids, taking care of the sick, or feeding everyone, Mary was involved. Her husband John A. Skrabely died in 1996 and a daughter Cheryl Braese died in 1985. She leaves a daughter Donna Tetreault and her husband William of Springfield; two brothers Timothy Nolan and his wife Laura of Springfield as well as Michael Nolan and his wife Veronica of Georgia. She also leaves two granddaughters Marissa Tetreault and Stacy Daniels; a great grandson Dash Daniels Jr.; four nieces and nephews Christopher and Ryan Nolan, Heather Pugh of Georgia and her "special" niece Emma Nolan of Springfield. She was also predeceased by a brother Robert Stewart. A private graveside service will be held in Hillcrest Park Cemetery. For online condolences please visit curranjones.com.
