Mary Ann Stenta
1947 – 2016

West Springfield – Mary Ann (Gelzinis) Stenta, 69, passed away Thursday with her family and friends by her side. She was born in Springfield daughter of the late Joseph and Dorothy Gelzinis. Mary Ann worked for the West Springfield School System and at Camp Robinson. Her husband Nicholas Stenta died in 2002. She leaves her sisters Joan Cobean and her husband Robert, Patricia McCarthy and her husband Tom and Paula Casella; a sister-in-law Loretta Boyle; nieces and nephews Amanda, Laura, Lisa, Richard, Robert, Lance and Derek; great nieces and nephews Aria, Mathew, Marissa, Adam, Cameron and Stephen and her "sister" and best friend Cathy Franck. Visiting hours will be held for Mary Ann Tuesday from 4:00 – 7:00pm at the West Springfield Curran-Jones Funeral Home. A committal service will be held in the Massachusetts Veteran's Memorial Cemetery on Wednesday at 10:00am.
