Mary E. Tynan

1920 – 2017

WEST SPRINGFIELD – Mary E. (Tobin) Tynan, 97, died Wednesday evening surrounded by her loving family. Mary was born in New York City, March 21, 1920 and lived in West Springfield most of her life before moving to Feeding Hills last year. She and her husband opened "Colonial News" in Feeding in 1977 and ran the store until their retirement in 1988. Her husband Vincent E. Tynan Sr. died in 1991. She leaves her children Mary G. Tynan, Patricia C. Prout, Theresa T. Bruso and her husband Robert, Vincent E. Tynan Jr., John F. Tynan and his wife Ronna; eleven grandchildren and four great grandchildren. The funeral will be held at the West Springfield Curran-Jones Funeral Home Saturday, August 5 ^th at 11:00am followed by burial in St. Thomas Cemetery.   For more details please visit curranjones.com.
