Obituary

Matthew R. Morin, 39, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, August 2, 2026. Born in Springfield, he grew up in the Bondsville section of Palmer and was a 2005 graduate of Palmer High School. Matthew was a YouTuber, gamer, loved to dabble in the stock market and an NRA enthusiast. He was a huge contributor to the Toys-For-Tots. He was also an ordained minister. He was predeceased by his father, Roger W. Morin and two sisters, Jessie L. Morin and Amanda S. Morin. He leaves behind his mother, Ann M. (Kelsey) Morin of Westfield, a brother and his wife, Christopher W. and Rebekah Morin of Springfield, a sister and her husband, Jaime L. and Timothy Mason of Westfield, nieces and nephews, Marisa, Adam, Emily, Erica, Benjamin, Luke, Abigail, a great-nephew, Jaxton and his best friend, his basset hound beagle, Snickerdoodles. A private ceremony will be conducted at the convenience of the immediate family. Any donations can be made to Toys-For-Tots in his honor.

Matt, may you rest in peace.

Matthew 5:4: "Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted." This Beatitude directly acknowledges the deep emotional pain of losing a loved one and promises God's presence in that sorrow.

Matthew 11:28: "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest." This serves as a gentle invitation to bring the heavy emotional weight of grief and exhaustion to Jesus for spiritual relief.

Matthew 28:20: "...And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age." This final promise from Jesus assures those left behind that they are never completely alone, even in their darkest moments of isolation and mourning.
