Maxine Sepanek

Agawam-Maxine D. "Mickey" (Seavey) Sepanek, 92 of 110 Edgewater Road, Agawam, MA died on September 4, 2015 in Augusta, Maine. She was born in Wiscasset, Maine February 14, 1923, daughter of the late Perley and Estelle Seavey and lived in Agawam since 1957. Maxine belonged to the Agawam Senior Center and enjoyed golfing. Mickey worked 28 years for Combustion Engineering as Chief Telephone Operator, retiring in 1982. She was predeceased by her first husband, Donald Roderick, who died in World War II, by her husband Joseph M. Sepanek in 1981 and a sister Frances E. Caston of Augusta, Maine. She leaves a brother Douglas Seavey (96) of Farmingdale, Maine, one niece and four nephews. Mickey will be sadly missed by many family members, neighbors and special friends. The committal service was held in the Massachusetts Veteran's Memorial Cemetery. The West Springfield Curran-Jones Funeral Home is handling all arrangements.
