Mercia M. (Augusta) Krausse, 92, died Monday at Renaissance Manor. She was born in Holyoke, daughter of the late Antonio and Judite Augusto and lived in South Hadley most of her life. She worked at South Hadley Electric Light and later as a teller for Bank of Boston, formerly Old Colony Bank before retiring in 1987. She was a member of the Portuguese-American Club in Holyoke. She was predeceased by her husband Robert in 2013. She leaves a son Robert A. Krausse of South Hadley, a sister Delores Daley and her husband David of South Hadley, nephews David Timothy Daley and Christopher Mark Daley, a niece Elizabeth Mary Daley and a grandniece Caroline Daley. The funeral will be Friday at 11 am at the CURRAN-O'BRIEN FUNERAL HOME, 33 Lamb St., South Hadley followed by burial in Forestdale Cemetery. Calling hours will be Thursday 4:00 to 7:00 pm.
