Michael F. Denesha

1950 - 2018

Michael F. Denesha, 68, died Monday in Baystate Medical Center surrounded by his loving family.  He was born in Springfield and lived there all his life. He served four years in the US Navy from 1969 to 1973, serving aboard the Destroyer USS Furse and Cargo Transport USS El Paso. Michael belonged to the Verdi Club and loved hunting and fishing. He leaves two sons Scott Denesha and his wife Karol and John Denesha and his wife Sabrina, all of Springfield, brothers Jimmy, David, Dougie and Stevie, sisters Suzy Hickey and Lori Rivera and grandchildren Alyssa, Joseph, Damian, Ashley and Leah.  Michael was predeceased by his brothers Tommy and Gary.  The funeral will be held at the West Springfield Curran-Jones Funeral Home Tuesday at 1:00pm followed by burial in the Massachusetts Veteran's Memorial Cemetery.
