Michael G. Desilets, 56, died Thursday at home. He was born in Springfield and graduated from West Springfield High School in 1980. Michael loved to spend time with his family, working with his hands and fishing and boating. He leaves two sons, Jonathan and Brian Desilets of West Springfield, two daughters Meagan Cortis (Anthony) of West Springfield and Sarah Desilets (Ryan) of Westfield, his parents Raymond and Phyllis Desilets, brothers David and Raymond Desilets and Greg Clark, sisters Laurie Viglietta and Christine Clark-Orpin, grandchildren Brianna, Mia, TJ and Julian and the mother of his children Kathie Manley. Visitation will be Wednesday from 10:00 am to 12 noon at the West Springfield Curran-Jones Funeral Home with a closing prayer at 12 noon.
