Michael F. Harper

1957 – 2020

West Springfield – Michael F. Harper, 63, died peacefully Tuesday evening surrounded by his loving family.  Michael was born in Springfield, son of the late Frederick and Betty (Piquette) Harper and lived in West Springfield all his life. He was an Operating Engineer for Local #98.  Michael enjoyed being a seasonal at Summit Hill Campground, where he spent most of his time with family and friends.  He leaves his wife of 44 years Deborah (Manley) Harper; a son Michael Harper (Susan); two daughters Kristin Morozova (Vlad), Katie Harper (Felix); eight grandchildren A'Myah, Cayla, Liam, Angelina, Lukis, Deana, Jailyn and Khaliah; and a brother Frederick Harper.  Besides his parents, Michael was predeceased by a brother Thomas Harper. Visiting hours will be held at the West Springfield Curran-Jones Funeral Home Friday from 4:00 – 7:00pm.
