1958- 2013

Agawam – Michael S. Lynch, 54, passed away at home on Sept 30th, doing what he loved best. Born in Levittown, PA, he grew up in Edison N.J. before relocating to Agawam in 1972. A graduate of Agawam High School Class of 1976, he spent 4 years as a truck driver in the 104th transportation company for the U.S. Army. He was a teamster and spent his career as a professional Truck driver, retiring 2012 from Praxair Inc. He loved his Classic T-Shirt business and loved traveling the country. He leaves behind his loving life partner and soulmate, Lori Rabtor of Agawam, his mother Jane McCreadie of Agawam, two sons, Jeremy Lynch and his wife Elena of Southwick, Ryan Lynch of Florida, his two beautiful grand-daughters Haley-Ann and Riley Lynch of Southwick. He also leaves behind two sisters, Kelly Whitney and her husband Jack of Maine, Kathy Heaning of New Jersey. He also leaves behind many aunts, uncles, nephews, great nephews, and cousins. He was predeceased by his father James B Lynch Jr., his brother James B Lynch III, his maternal grandparents Rachel and John Ryan and his maternal grandfather Stanley Bandoski, his paternal grandparents Mary (O'Connell) and James B. Lynch Sr. He will be greatly missed by countless friends and extended family from around the country. Calling hours will be Thursday October 3rd from 4:00-7:00 pm at the Agawam Curran-Jones Funeral Home. The funeral will be Friday October 4th at 9 am from the funeral home followed by Mass in St. John's Church in Agawam at 10 am. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations may be made in Michael's memory to American Heart Association, or the Autism Speaks/Western New England.
