MICHAEL JAMES ("Mike") Philip of Humble, Texas died unexpectedly July 25 th . Father of Tempestt (Attleboro, MA) and Gracie Jo (Humble, TX). Son of Don and Lynn Philip, West Springfield, MA. Mike was a devoted father, a beloved uncle, and a talented and well-loved manager. He was extremely intelligent, a talented artist, had a passion for music and fast cars, and was an avid Patriots fan. Mike also had this uncanny ability to stir the pot in a fun-loving way, and will be remembered for the gleam in his eye as he did so. The oldest, he is survived by siblings Maria Marshall (Tom), Brice, Elizabeth (Derek), David (Phetsamone) and Rosemarie Philip, and many nieces and nephews. He earned an MBA from Cambridge College, was a valued manager at Plastipak in East Longmeadow, and an MIS Project Services Supervisor for Niagara Bottling at the time of his death. Mike's passing leaves a large void in the hearts of family, friends and co-workers alike. Gathering and Celebration of Life at West Springfield Curran-Jones Funeral Home Wednesday August 1 st , 4-7 PM. Funeral Mass Thursday 10 AM. St. Thomas Church, West Springfield.
