Myles G. Keery, 86, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, January 25, 2024.  Born in Springfield, son of the late Arthur G. and Dorothy (Farrington) Keery, he grew up in Springfield and moved to Feeding Hills in 1966.  Myles worked for thirty-seven years for H.P. Hood as a night shipper and also for the Agawam Senior Center as a custodian for twenty years.  He was an Air Force veteran stationed in Tripoli. He was also an avid golfer, a communicant of Holy Name Church in Springfield and volunteered at the West Springfield/Agawam Parish Cupboard.  Myles' family would like to thank Forrest Bradford who was an advocate for him with veteran affairs and to Pedro, his health care assistant and the other nurses that cared for him.  He leaves his wife of fifty-nine years, Sabra "Lee" (Brooks) Keery, two sons, Shawn M. Keery and his wife Carmen Jimenez of Springfield, David J. Keery and his wife Rachel of Agawam, a daughter, Dawn M. DeSteph of East Hartland, CT, a brother, David G. Keery and his wife Elizabeth of Bonita Springs, FL, a sister, Ann Marie Howard and her husband Robert of Framingham, four grandchildren, William, Sabra and her husband, Sloan, David Jr., Sarah and a great-granddaughter, Khloe.  He was predeceased by a brother, Brendan Keery and a son-in-law, Joseph DeSteph.  Relatives and friends are invited to a Funeral Mass on Wednesday, at 9:30am at Holy Name Church, 323 Dickinson St., Springfield followed by burial in the Massachusetts Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
