Nancy Butt/Brady, 65, died on December 2nd at home. She was born on May 14, 1945 in Buffalo, NY and was an only child to Christopher and Helen (Polanski) Ottaviano. At age 4 she was part of the peanut gallery on the Howdy Duty show. She attended Catholic school and graduated from Mount Saint Mary's Academy in Kenmore NY. She married Thomas J. Butt (Brady) in 1964.They have four wonderful children: Thomas Butt Jr - now Barratini, Michael Butt (wife Laurie Sleeper), Kenneth Butt (wife Ann Lombardi), and Christina Butt/Brady (husband Thomas Lynch). Nancy and Tom have eight beautiful grandchildren: Steven, Rachel, Samantha, Tyler, Erin, Austin, Lydia and Tomie (TJ). While in Bflo, Nancy modeled for Kings Dept. Store and the Buffalo Evening News. They moved to Massachusetts in 1975.Nancy worked as Personnel Manager for Woolco. After the store closed, she worked for Bay Bank Valley and Vanguard Bank. They briefly moved back to Bflo to care for her ailing father, uncle and aunt. In 1997, Tom and Nancy moved to Philadelphia, PA where they lived for 14 years, traveling extensively through out the country and abroad: Italy, France, Germany, Bermuda. They moved back to Agawam, Massachusetts in 1990. " I want to thank the Town of Agawam School System for allowing me to care for a wonderful child for five years!" She is already missed so very much! There will be no visitation hours. The Memorial Service will be held at Holy Trinity Church in Westfield on Friday, December 10, 2010 at 10:30am.
