Nancy (Albano) Gentile, 57, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, April 2nd, 2024, at home surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Springfield, resided in Agawam and was a 1984 graduate of Agawam High School. Nancy was a well-known barber in the town of Agawam. She started her career with her father at Albano's Barber Shop, which she then took over and later operated The Clip Shop in Feeding Hills. Nancy worked at Hampden Zimmerman, then later enjoyed working as a Pharmacy Technician at Stop and Shop. Some of Nancy's life enjoyments were relaxing at the beach and listening to the waves. She also enjoyed line dancing and listening to country music. She is predeceased by her father, Ignazio "Al" Albano. She is survived by her two children, Jered R. Gentile and Jillian J. Gentile both of Southwick, her grandpuppy Scooter, and her mother Assuntina "Tina" (DeMaio) Albano of Feeding Hills. Nancy leaves her brother, Joseph Albano and his wife Shelley of Agawam, two sisters, Joanna Williamson and her husband Dave of Feeding Hills, Debbie Oliver and her Husband Jay of Feeding Hills, three nephews Danny and Jimmy Williamson, Joe Oliver, and her three nieces, Emily Oliver, Arianna and Mia Albano. Nancy will be missed by many relatives, friends, and her close childhood friend Laurie Bouchard. Calling hours are Sunday, April 14, 2024, from 12:30-3:30 pm at the Agawam Curran Jones Funeral Home, 745 Cooper Street followed by a Funeral Home Service at 3:30 pm.  The burial will be private.
