FEEDING HILLS - Natalie I. (Monteiro) Godet, 81, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, November 26, 2014. Born in New Bedford, daughter of the late Stephen and Beatrice (Ponte) Monteiro, she lived in Agawam most of her life and was a 1951 graduate of Agawam High School and attended the Banking Institute at Bay Path college. Natalie worked as a banker for the former Third National Bank and retired from Bank of America. She was a communicant of Sacred Heart Church and also sold real estate. She leaves a son, Stephen E. Godet of Feeding Hills, two daughters, Susan L. Camley of Morrisville, VT, Linda A. Jenks of Ormond Beach, FL, a sister, Nancy B. Goddard of Agawam, seven grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and her constant companion, her beloved Bichon Frise, Tucker. She was predeceased by a son, Douglas J. Godet in 1996 and a brother, James Monteiro. Relatives and friends are invited to meet at Sacred Heart Church, 1061 Springfield Street, Feeding Hills, MA, on Thursday, December 4, for a Funeral Mass at 10am. The burial will be in Springfield Street Cemetery. The AGAWAM CURRAN-JONES FUNERAL HOME is in charge.
