Nathan Xavier Santiago, 20, died suddenly last Friday in Florida, surrounded by the love of his mom. Nathan was born and raised in Springfield. He was a 2015 graduate of Central High School and was a member of the Track & Field Team.  He leaves behind his parents Daniel and Mary L. Santiago and his two brothers Anthony and Fabian Gonzalez. Nate enjoyed life, family, and friends. He was always there to inspire the lives of others with his huge, bright smile. The funeral will be held at the West Springfield Curran-Jones Wednesday at 10am followed by burial in Oak Grove Cemetery. Visiting hours will be held Tuesday from 4 – 7pm.
