Nicholas J. Scafuri, 95, passed away peacefully at the Atrium at Cardinal Drive in Agawam on Thursday, February 22, 2024.  Nicholas was born in Springfield on June 28, 1928 to the parents of the late Joseph and Antoinette (Santaniello) Scafuri.  He worked for many years as a machine operator for C.C Lewis Company before his retirement. He was predeceased his wife of sixty years, Jean (Rourke) Scafuri.  He is survived by a son Michael and his wife Karen Scafuri of Southwick, a son Richard Scafuri of Brewster, MA, a brother, George Scafuri of East Longmeadow, two granddaughters, Michelle Foint and her husband Michael of Southwick, Nicole Bergeron and her husband Brian of Southwick, along with three great-granddaughters, Gina, Gabriella and Grace Foint.  A graveside service will be Tuesday, February 27, 2024 at 10:30 am at Springfield Street Cemetery in Feeding Hills.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to " Employee Holiday Fund c/o The Atrium@Cardinal Drive" 153 Cardinal Drive,Agawam, MA 01001.  For online condolences, please visit www.curranjones.com.
