Nicolas Gonzalez, 88, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, June 3, 2025 at Baystate Medical Center.  Born in Salinas, Puerto Rico, son of the late Venancio and Petra (Santos) Gonzalez, he moved to Springfield at the age of sixteen and has resided inSpringfield since then.  Nicolas worked at Breck Shampoo which later changed to American Cyanamid for over twenty years and retired from that company.  He leaves his wife of sixty-four years, Rosalia (Martinez) Gonzalez, two sons, Larry Gonzalez of Springfield, Harry Gonzalez of Westfield, a daughter, Ivette Wroth of Boca Raton, FL, five grandchildren, Venessa Gonzalez, Michelle Gonzalez-Williams, Tawnee Gonzalez, Elisse Rosalia, Marco Martinez, five great-grandchildren and nine siblings.  Calling hours are Wednesday, June 11, 2025 from 10am-12pm at Curran Jones Funeral Home, 109 Main Street followed by a Funeral Home Service at 12noon.
