Norma J. Lane, 90, died Tuesday morning at home surrounded by her loving family. Norma was born and raised in Turner Falls, the daughter of Harold and Helen (Purchla) Jamieson. She worked for a brief time as a bookkeeper with the Cable Company but retired early to spend time at home raising her family. Her husband Robert C. Lane died in 1992. She leaves her seven children; Robert Lane, Debra Lane, Don Lane and his wife Brenda, Jeffery Lane, David Lane (who has lovingly taken care of his mom for the past 15 years), Kathy D'angelantonio and her husband Joe, and Ronald Lane and his wife Wendy; a daughter-in-law Leah Adams and many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. Besides her husband she was predeceased by her siblings Mildred Mroz, Shirley Sutter, and Harold Jamieson. A private graveside service will be held in St. Thomas Cemetery.
