Norman E. Kidwell
1925 – 2016

WEST SPRINGFIELD – Norman E. Kidwell, 91, of Overlook Drive died Monday with his loving wife by his side. Norman was born in Washington D.C. and has lived in West Springfield most of his life. He served in the United States Navy during World War II and later started Kidwell Engineering Company of West Springfield. He was predeceased by his wives Florence, Nancy and Olive Kidwell. He leaves his wife Natalia Kidwell; two sons: Norman & Debbe Kidwell and Roger & Barbara Kidwell; daughter Carol Bertino and step children Dirk & Kathi Kidwell, Scott & Beth Stafford, Gordon & Fiona Blasius, Heather Paterson, Michael & Anna Bzdawski, Robert Magdalena Bzdawski, and Bogumila & Eryk Bzdawski. He also leaves two grandchildren Peter and Ruth Kidwell; two great grandchildren; many step grandchildren; nephew Mark & Peggy Kidwell and niece Ann Kidwell Kurzius. The funeral will be held at the West Springfield Curran-Jones Funeral Home Friday at 3:00pm. Visiting hours will be held prior to the funeral on Friday from 2:00 – 3:00pm.
