Ringuette
August 29, 1932 – January 29, 2021
Norman "Norm" Ringuette
August 29, 1932 – January 29, 2021
Son of the late Gregoire and Leonide Ringuette, Norman was lively and enthusiastic with a profound love for dancing, gardening and golf. His garden always produced an abundance of the most delicious fruits and vegetables and he always shared them with pride with his friends and family. He always happily hosted holiday gatherings for his large family with his warm and welcoming nature. Norman served his country as a Soldier in the United States Army from '53-'55 where he spent most of his enlistment in Germany as an Infantry Squad Leader in a Personnel Carrier. His early years were spent living in Chicopee where he played football on the Chicopee Highschool Varsity team and while overseas in the Army. Norman was a long-time resident of Agawam, MA and still remained at the time of his passing. He was predeceased by his brothers Rosaire "Rosie", Paul "Hawk", Donat "Don" and Lionel "Moe" Ringuette, his Son, Norman "Moe" Ringuette; his Daughter, Laura Ringuette and his Grandsons, David Wheeler and Nathan Meade. He leaves his children; Ann Marie Meade, Julie Claffey, Jacquelyn Wheeler, Greg Ringuette and Amy Ringuette; 11 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. He also leaves a sister, Mary Montemagni and brother John "Johnny" Ringuette. Norman had many friends whom he spoke very highly of including those he enjoyed dancing with at the Springfield Tea Dance Club, The Chicopee Elks and the Agawam Senior Center. He will be sincerely missed.
"And I shall hear, though soft your tread above me. And all my grave shall warmer, sweeter be. For you will bend and tell me that you love me. And I shall sleep in peace until you come to me" – F. Weatherly," O' Danny Boy, 1913"
