Obituary

Oliver G. Seibert, 74, died Wednesday in New Hampshire. He was born in Springfield, son of the late Earl Seibert (Hockey Hall of Famer) and Gladys (Conner) Seibert. He owned and operated the State Line Package Store in Agawam for many years and owned the Indian Knoll Farm in Southwick. Ollie loved his dogs, the outdoors and living in Vermont. He served in the U.S. Army Reserves. He leaves his daughter Karen Seibert-Kervick and her husband Kevin Kervick of East Longmeadow, his son Earl C. Seibert of Chicopee (USMC), his sister Marilyn Fenton and four grandchildren Tyler (U.S. Navy), Hunter, Theresa and Cote. Oliver also leaves behind special companion Jackie Morin and her family. Oliver was predeceased by his nephew Brian Fenton and niece Sharon Grabowski. The funeral will be Monday at 12 noon from the West Springfield Curran-Jones Funeral Home followed by Mass in St. John's Church, Agawam at 1:00 pm. Burial will follow the Mass at the Agawam Center Cemetery. Calling hours are Sunday 4:00 to 7:00pm. In lieu flowers donations may be made to The Jack Byrne Center for Palliative and Hospice Care.
