Pamela Roseanne (Ryan) Fairhurst, 77, died Saturday March 23, 2019 at Heritage Hall North. She was born March 27, 1941, daughter of the late Thomas and Eunice (Maher) Ryan, grew up in the Forest Park section of Springfield and graduated from Springfield High School in 1958. She graduated from Dental Assistant School in 1959. When her husband was enlisted in the Air Force, they traveled together across the United States and abroad from 1961 to 1980. She has lived in Agawam since 1980. She was a devoted mother, wife, and if you met her, she was your friend. She leaves her husband Alfred C. Fairhurst, who she married in 1961, son Thomas Fairhurst, daughter Kathryn (Fairhurst) Meade, son Gregory Fairhurst, granddaughters Meghan and Indiana Fairhurst and Alyssa Meade and grandsons Nicholas and Benjamin Fairhurst and Sean Meade. The funeral will be Saturday at 9 am from Agawam Curran-Jones Funeral Home followed by Mass in St. John's Church at 10 am. Burial in Agawam Center Cemetery. Calling hours are Friday 4-7 pm.
