Patricia Ann (Theobald) Aseltine, 78, passed away Thursday, October 18, 2018 at her home in West Springfield, surrounded by her family.  Pat was born in Springfield, MA, on March 22, 1940 to the late Larry and Emma Theobald.  She was vibrant, spirited, and generous:  fiercely devoted to her family and friends; passionate in her enjoyment of music, Christmas, and her grandchildren; kind and charitable with her time and energy.  She is survived by her husband Bob, whose unfailing devotion to her in her final months was a blessing and an inspiration.  She leaves three loving children and their spouses: Rob and Evelyn Aseltine of Longmeadow, Jen and Greg Donovan of West Springfield, and Jon and Angel Aseltine of South Hadley. "Gigi" was a fixture in the lives of her 10 grandchildren:  Brendon, Andrew, Olivia, Kaley, Madeleine, Riley, Joe, Hannah, Phoebe, and Lydia.  She also leaves her siblings Art Theobald of Agawam, Judy Mugford of Barre, VT, and Rene O'Keefe of Agawam.  Pat's life will be celebrated with a memorial service in her honor at 11:00AM on Saturday, October 27 at West Springfield United Methodist Church, 800 Amostown Rd, West Springfield, followed by a reception in the Fellowship Hall.  Burial will be at the convenience of the family.  For more details please visit curranjones.com.  In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Stephen E. and Catherine Pappas Center for Neuro-Oncology at Massachusetts General Hospital.
