Patricia A. (Bodge) Chene
1941 – 2011

AGAWAM – Patricia A. (Bodge) Chene passed away on Sunday at the age of 70. Pat was born in Springfield to the late Francis O. Bodge and Mabel (Moccia) Bodge. She attended Cathedral High School and was employed for many years in the office of M.G. Kinsler Company, the B.F. Goodrich and City Tire Companies. She later worked for Val-Pak Direct Mail Company and owned her own Super Coups Franchise. She retired for a short while, returning to work for Money Mailer and Better Living Quarterly Magazine. She loved her clients through the years though they were more like friends than clients. Pat leaves to cherish her memory her daughter Angela Marie Tahmili, who she loved more than life. They had such a close bond and enjoyed so many happy memories together. She also leaves her son-in-law Mohammad Tahmili, who was more like a son, her granddaughters, Shayda, Naseem and Ariana Tahmili, who she adored. She loved her "Girl Only" weekends with Angela and her granddaughters. Her favorite time was spending time with her family and going to the casino. She was predeceased by her former husband Anthony Chene and her fiancée Gino Piccin. She also leaves Gino's children, whom she loved like her own, Nancy, Tom and Don Piccin and Rachel Adelson, who was like her own granddaughter; her brothers Francis, Greg, and William Bodge; sisters Courtney Bodge and Maxine Connor and many nieces, nephews and cousins, especially Catherine Tobey, who was her rock through all the hard times, and so many wonderful friends through the years. The funeral will be held at the West Springfield Curran-Jones Funeral Home Saturday at 9:00am with Liturgy in Sacred Heart Church at 10:00am followed by burial in Longmeadow Cemetery.
