Patricia A. (Steiger) Peters, 79, of Pleasant Street died Tuesday at Life Center in Leominster. Patricia was born in Holyoke and has lived in South Hadley since 1952.  She worked as a cook at Mt. Holyoke College and the Marian Center in Holyoke and was a communicant of St. Patrick's Church.  Her husband James J. Peters died in November of 2015.  She leaves five children James J. "Gee-Gee" of South Hadley Michael and his wife Kym of Chicopee, William and his wife Lynn of Chicopee; Donna Fowler and her husband James of Leominster and Susan Fugler of Granby.  She also leaves five grandchildren Heather Allardice, Sara View, Crystal View Dufresne, Meaghan Shattuck and Bevin Peters. She also leaves her three brothers Bobby Steiger and wife Roseanne, Martin Steiger, and Kenneth Steiger and wife Kathleen, all of South Hadley.  Besides her husband she was predeceased by a grandson Matthew View.  A private funeral will be held at the Curran-O'Brien Funeral Home.  For more details please visit curranobrien.com.
