AGAWAM – Patricia Schebel, 74, of Agawam, passed away Sunday, March 20 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Springfield, MA to the late Antonio and Dorothy Polcetti. She was predeceased by her loving husband, Carl Joseph, her beloved son Carl Gordon and much loved sister, Judith Cordero. Pat lived in Agawam for over 40 years and was a member of the Agawam United Methodist Church. She worked for many years at Allied Rehabilitation Centers, where she loved and was loved by her many consumers and fellow co-workers. Most importantly, she will be remembered by her family and friends as a devoted mother, grandmother and "Gigi" She is survived by her children Donna Schebel of Amston, CT; Donald Schebel and his wife Penny of Feeding Hills, MA; Carol Bigos and her husband John of West Springfield; Debbie Riddle and her husband Harold of West Springfield; and Laurie Schebel of Agawam, a daughter-in-law Patricia Cross and her husband John of Springfield and a sister Beatrice Connor of Chicopee. She will be greatly missed by her grandchildren, Ron, Jenn, Amy, Candice, Jonathan, Hal, Tim, Kelley, Katie, Amanda, Johnny and Christopher; her several great grandchildren and her many nieces and nephews. The funeral will be held at the Agawam Curran-Jones Funeral Home Thursday at 10:00am with burial in Springfield Street Cemetery. Visiting hours will be held Wednesday 4:00 – 7:00pm.
