Obituary

Patrick Connors, 67, passed away unexpectedly at his home in East Longmeadow on July 17, 2026. Born in Springfield, son of the late Edward and Laurinda Connors, he grew up in West Springfield and was a 1977 graduate of West Springfield High School and a 1981 graduate of Holy Cross College in Worcester.

Patrick was a respected insurance professional whose career spanned many years. He proudly owned Connor’s Insurance in Springfield before joining HUB International, where he served as the Public Entity Practice Leader in East Longmeadow.

Patrick will be remembered most for his extraordinary generosity and the joy he brought to those around him. He had a passion for golf, NASCAR, fine dining, and could never resist a trip to Costco. Whether spending time with family and friends or sharing a laugh, Patrick had a way of making every moment memorable.

He is survived by his lovely bride of twenty-one years, Sharon D. (Rose) Connors, his cherished daughters, Andrea R. Whalen of South Hadley, Aimee K. Mueller of Chicopee, his sister, Carol Cader of Newington, CT, several nieces and nephews, and his treasured rescue dogs and cats, who held a special place in his heart.

Calling hours are Friday, July 24, 2026 from 9-11am at Curran Jones Funeral Home, 109 Main Street, West Springfield, with a Funeral Home Service at 11. The burial will follow in St. Thomas Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial donations be made to Dakin Humane Society, 171 Union Street, Springfield, MA 01105 in honor of Patrick’s lifelong love of animals.

Patrick’s generosity, kindness, and love for his family, friends, and animals will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
