Patrick J. Murphy, 70, entered into eternal rest on Monday, June 2, 2025 in Baystate Medical Center.  Born in Springfield, son of the late Daniel and Kathleen (Bryant) Murphy, he grew up in Springfield and was a 1973 graduate of Springfield Technical High School.  Patrick worked as a mason and had also worked for United Parcel Service.  He was an avid sports enthusiast especially all the Boston teams.  He loved spending time with his family.  He was predeceased by a brother, Stephen Murphy. He leaves a daughter and her husband, Teresa L. and Matthew Bendzinski of East Longmeadow, a brother and his wife, Daniel and Cindy Murphy of West Springfield, two sisters, Katie Murphy, Mary Ann and her husband, Ricky Whitney all of Springfield, a grandson, Aiden Bendzinski, his former wife, Annmarie (Zarlengo) Boulay of Longmeadow, a brother-in-law, Mark Streeter of East Longmeadow, and many nieces and nephews.  Relatives and friends are invited to a Funeral Mass on Friday, June 13, 2025 at 10am at St. Michael's Church, 110 Maple Street, East Longmeadow. The burial will be at the convenience of the family.
