Paul M. Moras, 65, of Wolcott Avenue, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, April 29, 2015. Paul was born in Springfield, son of the late Fernand and Jeanne (Valliere) Moras, and has lived in West Springfield all his life. He was a 1967 graduate of Cathedral High School and worked in the Produce Department at Stop & Shop Grocery Stores for 47 years until his retirement in 2014. He was a corpsman for the United States Navy and served in the Vietnam War. He was a member of the American Legion Post 124 in Westfield and a communicant of St. Thomas the Apostle Church. He leaves his wife of 34 years Darlene A. (Pepin) Moras, two daughters Kristin L. Donner and her husband Peter of Springfield, Lauren J. Moras of Arlington, a brother James Moras and his wife Ellen of Anchorage, Alaska, a brother-in-law, Robert Deslauriers of West Springfield, two granddaughters Ella and Cora and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a sister Carol Deslauriers. The funeral will be Wednesday at 9am from the West Springfield Curran-Jones Funeral Home, 109 Main Street with a Mass in St. Thomas the Apostle Church at 10.
