Paul C. Skowera
1957 – 2011

AGAWAM – Paul C. Skowera, 54, of Riverside Avenue died Thursday. Paul was born in Springfield the son of Julia (Dursa) Skowera and the late George Skowera and has lived in Agawam most of his life. He was employed at Hasbro, the former Milton Bradley, in East Longmeadow. A former Altar Boy, Paul was a communicant of Sacred Heart Church in Feeding Hills and an avid Red Sox and Patriots fan. Paul was known to have a lush vegetable garden and grew the hottest peppers in town. He leaves a son Jonathan Skowera and his girlfriend Kathy Vogel of Oxnard, CA; two brothers, George and his wife Deborah of West Springfield, Richard and his wife Dale of Longmeadow; two sisters Diane Escobar and her husband Manny of Norwood, Christine Smith and her husband Greg of Westfield; his girlfriend Karla Leroux; his mother Julia Skowera; his former wife Debbie (Trumbull) Skowera; a niece and five nephews. The funeral will be held at the Agawam Curran-Jones Funeral Home Monday at 11 am with Liturgy in Sacred Heart Church at 12 noon followed by burial in the Agawam Center Cemetery.
