Pauline D. (Saville) Alexander, 91, formerly of Upper Beverly Hills, died Saturday surrounded by her loving family, at Wingate of South Hadley. She is the daughter of the late Salvatore and Concetta (Russo) Saville. Pauline was born in West Springfield, where she lived most of her life. She was an avid golfer and enjoyed camping. Her passion in life was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Her husband David B. Alexander died in 2014. Pauline leaves her brother Anthony Saville and his wife Gloria of West Springfield. She is survived by her sons Anthony of Southampton, David of Blandford, and daughters Michele Belden of Florida and Jean Courniotes and her husband Greg of Naples, FL. She will be missed by her nine grandchildren Michele Graves, Christina Belden, Nicholas Courniotes, Ashley Alexander, Stacy Grimes, Angelina Miranda, and Alyssa, Audra, and Erin Alexander, seven great grandchildren, and a special nephew Anthony Saville II. The funeral will be held Thursday, November 19th at 12 noon at West Springfield Curran-Jones Funeral Home followed by burial in the Massachusetts Veterans Memorial Cemetery. Calling hours at the funeral home will be held Wednesday, November 18th from 4:00 – 7:00pm.
