Chicopee – Peter R. Bouchard, 61, died peacefully Thursday, August 4, 2022 in Baystate Medical Center.  Peter was born in Springfield the son of Robert A. and the late Barbara (Ortolani) Bouchard.  He grew up in West Springfield and had lived in Westfield before moving to Chicopee a few years ago.  He worked as a truck driver at Ortolani Oil Company and as an HVAC technician. Peter was an avid fisherman and loved to travel.  He leaves his father Robert A. Bouchard, three children, Robert M. Bouchard and his wife Samantha, Christina A. Marrero and Jacqueleen M. Bouchard, a brother, Glen M. Bouchard and his wife Corinne, his fiancé, Stephanie and six grandchildren, Justin, Peter, Jaiden, Crystalee, Wyatt and Nicolette.  The funeral will be Tuesday at 9am from the West Springfield Curran-Jones Funeral Home, 109 Main Street with Liturgy of Christian Burial in St. Thomas the Apostle Church at 10 followed by burial in St. Thomas Cemetery.  Visiting hours will be held Monday from 4:00 – 7:00pm.
