Philip Gould
1915 – 2015

AGAWAM – Philip Gould, 99, died Thursday in a local nursing home. He was born, Nov. 12, 1915, in Concord, MA, youngest of six children to Paul and Clara Gould and had lived in Lynn and West Springfield before moving to Agawam nine years ago. Philip was a Sergeant for the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II serving as an airplane mechanic. He was an avid Red Sox fan and Keno player. He was predeceased by his wife Pauline (Warren) Gould and leaves behind his stepdaughter Mary Langevin and her husband John of West Springfield. A private burial will take place in the Massachusetts Veteran's Memorial Cemetery. The West Springfield Curran-Jones Funeral Home is handling all arrangements.
