Phyllis T. (Terry) Carboneau of South Hadley passed from this world into Heavenly Peace on February 10, 2018.  The daughter of the late John C. and Marion (Shea) Leary, Terry and her sister Fay grew up on Hungry Hill in Springfield. She worked as an operator for the telephone company and also for the Converse Carlisle Company before her marriage to the late Paul Carboneau of Holyoke. Together they operated the Springdale Machine Co. until their retirement at which point they devoted their time to building a home in Rye N.H.  She leaves, to cherish her memory, her son Glenn and his wife Lynn of Westfield; son David and his wife Anne of Cape Cod; daughter Lynnann Carboneau of South Hadley; six grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren. The funeral Mass will be Saturday at 11 am in St. Patrick's Church, South Hadley. Calling hours at the Curran-O'Brien Funeral Home, 33 Lamb St., South Hadley will be Friday 4:00 to 7:00pm.
