R. Frank DeMassini

AGAWAM – R. Frank DeMassini, 77, formerly of Meadowbrook Manor died Monday in a local nursing home. Frank was born in Worcester, he grew up in Worcester and Springfield and lived in Longmeadow for many years before moving to Agawam. He was a self-employed graphic artist and also worked for the Vitro Corporation, a U.S. Defense contractor. A longtime member of the Mawaga Club he also was a communicant of Sacred Heart Church in Feeding Hills. His wife Joanne (Belville) DeMassini died in 2011. He leaves his children Linda Simone and her husband Ed of Feeding Hills, Marie DeMassini of Taunton and Michael DeMassini and his wife Darlene of New Bedford. He also leaves eight grandchildren Angeline, Jonathon, Jennifer, Ashley, Nathan, Tiffany, Melissa and Michael; three great grandchildren Charlotte, Alexis and McKenzie and a dear friend Dick Simone. Frank loved his family, and his Sunday sauce, especially when the whole family was together. He worked long and hard to get what he wanted out of life and to provide for his family. The funeral will be held at the West Springfield Curran-Jones Funeral Home Saturday at 9:00am with Liturgy in Sacred Heart Church, Feeding Hills at 10:00am followed by burial in Agawam Center Cemetery.
