Ralph W. McCarl, 85, died Sunday, November 27, 2016.  Born in Springfield, son of the late William and Arvilla (Butler) McCarl, he worked as a truck driver for over thirty years for Carolina Freight, retiring in 1991.  Ralph was a member of the Teamsters Local 671 and the Elm-Belcher Lodge of Masons.  He was an avid New York Yankees and Giants fan and enjoyed watching candlepin bowling.  He leaves his wife of sixty years, Lois A. (Henderson) McCarl, three sons, Ralph E. Provost of CA, Dale F. McCarl of West Springfield, Craig S. McCarl of Southwick, three daughters, Louise E. Berrelli of Granville, Junette M. King of Feeding Hills, Tina A. Chartier of Monson, two sisters, Beverly Benjamin of Westfield, Dorothy Stone of Illinois, thirteen grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.  He was predeceased by a son, Jeffrey A. McCarl in 1975.  A graveside service will be Wednesday at 11am at Springfield Street Cemetery, 1104 Springfield Street in Feeding Hills. There are no calling hours and the AGAWAM CURRAN-JONES FUNERAL HOME is in charge.
