Raymond Antonio Germano, 89, passed away January 18 ^th . He was born January 14, 1929 in West Springfield, son of the late Frank and Angelina (Russi) Germano. He lived in West Springfield his entire life. He enlisted in the US Army in 1947, serving three years before serving in the US Air Force for four more years. He returned home to meet his wife of 61 years Irene (Tobey) Germano, who died in 2014. Ray worked as an auto mechanic for his brother Benny in Westfield at Germano Pontiac and Buick and retired from Orr Cadillac in 1999. He loved deep sea fishing and the Boston Bruins. He never missed his grandchildren's sporting events. He is survived by his two sons Richard and Robert of Agawam, seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
