Raymond J. Baker, 69, died Friday at home. He was born in Chazy Lake Depot, NY, son of the late Raymond and Irene Baker and has lived in Feeding Hills for 50 years. He was a retired Tech 1 for Hamilton Sundstrum who enjoyed hunting, camping and especially loved spending time with his grandkids. He leaves his wife Nancy (Bogocz) Baker, two daughters Kathleen Poggi and her husband Mark of West Springfield and Kristine Nicholls and her husband Joshua of South Hadley, a brother Ralph Baker and his wife Patricia of Agawam, two sisters Ora Mae Parent and Mary Donah and her husband Francis, both of New York, four grandchildren Kayla Marie, Ethan, Keira and Gavin and he leaves behind many nieces, nephews and close friends. He was predeceased by his brother Harold Baker and brother-in-law Harold Parent. The funeral will be Tuesday Oct. 4th at 10 am at the Agawam Curran-Jones Funeral Home followed by burial in Springfield Street Cemetery. Calling hours will be Monday Oct. 3rd from 4:00 to 7:00 pm.
