WEST SPRINGFIELD – Rebecca A. Nichols, 52, of Birnie Avenue died Wednesday peacefully at home with her husband by her side. Becki was born in Greenfield and has lived in West Springfield since 1994. She was an Accountant for various firms in the area, most recently working for Robert Half Incorporated. She was a 1977 graduate of Greenfield High School and graduated from Southeastern Massachusetts University in 1982. Becki loved to sew and was an avid quilter. She enjoyed landscaping and gardening. She leaves her husband of 22 years Christopher Horton; a sister Doreen Soskin and her husband Roy of West Swanzey, NH; her mother Janice Nichols of New Smyrna Beach, FL and her godchild Mia Sacco. She was predeceased by her father Richard Nichols and a beloved niece Kristen. The family would like to thank Dr. Michael Yunes et al. The funeral will be held at the West Springfield Curran-Jones Funeral Home Monday at 11:00am with burial in Green River Cemetery, Greenfield at a later date.
