Rena Mary Rose (Parent) Beyer, 70, entered into eternal rest on Monday, June 3, 2024 at Baystate Medical Center.  Born in Springfield, daughter of the Fernand and Gloria (Haney) Parent, she grew up in Springfield and lived there for many years.  Rena worked as a nurses aid for area nursing homes and hospitals and also worked for PBS channel 57.  She was an avid reader and enjoyed spending time with her nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by two brothers, Larry Parent and Perry Parent. She leaves a brother, Mark Parent of AvonPark, FL and a sister, Tina Cote of Springfield, five nephews, Benjamin Parent, Christopher Parent, Larry (Bo) Parent Jr, Zachariah Parent, Ian Parent, two nieces, Kandice Eggleston, Teressa Shaw along with many great-nieces and great-nephews.  All services are private and Curran Jones Funeral Home is in charge.
