Richard A. Brow, 75, passed away Wednesday at Baystate Medical Center. He was born in Swanton, VT and lived most of his life in West Springfield. He was a retired diesel mechanic for Keeley International and Camerota. He was also an auxiliary police officer for the Town of West Springfield for many years. He loved hunting, fishing, hiking and going to tag sales. His family was everything to him. He leaves his loving wife of 55 years Barbara (Fountaine) Brow, his daughter Tammy Ellsworth and her husband Keith of Chicopee, his pride and joy his grandson Kameron Brow, his best friend of 50 years Joseph Dionne and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents Edward and Arietta (Boudreau) Brow, son Edward Brow, brother Robert Brow and his sisters Gladys Gagnon and Irene Vogel and her husband Karl Vogel. The family would like to thank the staff at Baystate Medical Center for the amazing care they provided to him over the years. His funeral home service will be Tuesday, December 10th at 6:30 at W. Springfield Curran-Jones Funeral Home. Calling hours will precede the service Tuesday from 4:00 to 6:30.
