Obituary

Feeding Hills-Richard Nelson Clarke 69, passed away at The Holyoke Soldier's Home Sunday morning surrounded by his family. He was born in Baltimore, Maryland in 1946. He served in the United States Air force at Westover, from 1963-1967. While working full-time at Package Machinery Corporation, he obtained an Associate's Degree in Electronic Technology, from STCC, and a Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, from Westfield University. He leaves his loving wife and best friend of 47 years, Lynn, three beloved children, Kelly Baker(Tommy), Patrick Clarke(Lori), Jeffrey Clarke(Vicki), and seven cherished grandchildren, Hannah, Christopher, Caroline, Evan, Lucas, Bradley, Cassidy, and faithful dog, Oreo. Richard was loved deeply and will be missed tremendously. "I'm So Lonesome I Could Cry." Farewell, my "Blue-Eyed Beauty!" A funeral Mass, for Rick, will be held Thursday morning at 10 am September 3rd 2015, starting at Curran-Jones Funeral Home in Agawam at 9am heading to Sacred Heart Church in Feeding Hills. Burial will promptly follow at Mass Veterans Memorial Cemetery, in Agawam, at 11am. A luncheon will follow, location to be announced. Calling hours will be from 4 to 7pm on Wednesday September 2nd 2015, at Curran-Jones Funeral home, 745 Cooper St., Agawam, Ma.
