WEST SPRINGFIELD – Richard S. Hinds, 86, formerly of Chicopee died Wednesday in a local nursing home. He was a retired Truck Driver and ran Dick's Truck Repair, a mobile truck repair service. He served in the United States Air Force. He leaves his wife Beverly Ann Hinds; nine children Richard, Mark, Brian, Jason Hinds, Cindy Haber, Carol Cole, Laurie Peltier, Darlene Salloum and Pamela Hausser. He was predeceased by three children Stephen and David Hinds and Cathy Smith. Visiting hours will be held at the West Springfield Curran-Jones Funeral Home Tuesday from 11-12Noon followed by burial in the Massachusetts Veteran's Memorial Cemetery.
